The Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy at The National WWII Museum is a community of scholars forming a national center for research, higher education, publications, and public programming, dedicated to promoting the history of World War II, the relationship between the war and America’s democratic system, and the war’s continued relevance for the world. In addition to the knowledge and resources housed on our six-acre campus, the Institute also annually gathers prestigious historians and speakers from across the globe for various enlightening conferences and symposia, including the renowned International Conference on World War II, hosted in New Orleans each year. These events help to inspire civic engagement for exploring the war’s lasting legacies by attracting new generations to study, research, and write about the American experience in World War II.
